Gift wrapping papers and bags have a habit of sticking around for much longer. From leftover wrapping paper, to gift bags that find their way into your home every Xmas, be smart and store them for future use. One of the best ways to store your gift wrap supplies is by rolling up all of your wrapping paper and then storing it vertically in a closet or under the bed. Depending on how much space you have, you can even size down your rolls to save some space. For something more durable, a small investment into proper storage containers and boxes will go a long way in preserving your Christmas gift wraps and bags for longer.
One of the reasons people love artificial Christmas trees is because they are easy to store. The most basic method to store your artificial Christmas tree is to keep it in the box it came with. Store your artificial Christmas tree in the box covered in bubble wrap to keep it clean and free of dirt before next year. Hang your tree from a metal ceiling hook and wrap the trunk with rope or a bungee cord. Secure the top by threading rope or a bungee cord through the upper branches and attaching to hooks on the upper part of the wall.
When not stored properly, Christmas ornaments may rub on each other and chip away the glitter and the shiny. Using dividers will preserve them for more Christmas seasons to come. There are a lot of ways to go about this, but one I have seen that is super simple and doesn't take up a lot of space is using custom wood dividers from an arts and crafts store. If you have a box already, you can simply make or get these dividers. Alternatively, ready made ornament storage containers already have this.

Clear storage containers are a must-have for any home. They're perfect for storing Christmas decorations and, if they're clear, you can even see what you're looking for. It's also a good idea to store items that need to be packed away, like seasonal cooking gadgets or holiday tablecloths and placemats.

If you're like me and keep all kinds of containers, make the most of them by using them to store lights. I use coffee cans to keep the string lights properly stored. The last thing you need is to battle with entangled lights every Xmas, messing them up in the process.

Rather than storing your wreaths on the ground, try hanging them on a wall. A coat rack will work well for this task because it can accommodate many wreaths at once, not to mention that this will preserve them for longer. Another nifty idea is to use the store-bought storage boxes. this way you have a semi-permanent solution.
